ARI Google Data Use
Last updated: June 19, 2026
ARI requests Google permissions only when a signed-in user chooses to connect Google Workspace. Google access is optional, and the permissions support assistant features that the user explicitly requests in ARI.
Requested Google Scopes
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events: lets ARI list or create events in the user's primary Google Calendar when the user asks for scheduling help.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/contacts.readonly: lets ARI search contacts to help identify names, email addresses, or phone numbers requested by the user.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.metadata.readonly: lets ARI search Drive file metadata, including names, links, owners, and modified dates. ARI does not use this scope to read file contents.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly: lets ARI search Gmail and read messages or threads when the user asks for email help.
How ARI Uses Google Data
ARI uses Google data only to answer the user's request, prepare an action for confirmation, or show relevant results inside the assistant. ARI does not sell Google data, use Google data for advertising, use Google data for credit or eligibility decisions, or use Google data to build unrelated products.
Limited Human Access
ARI does not allow humans to read Google user data unless the user gives explicit consent for support, access is necessary for security or abuse investigation, or access is required by law.
Storage
ARI stores encrypted OAuth tokens so the user does not need to reconnect Google for every request. ARI stores minimal integration metadata such as granted scopes, connection status, and token expiration time. ARI may store assistant conversation context for continuity when the user asks ARI to remember or continue work.
Sharing And AI Processing
Google data may be processed by service providers only as needed to provide ARI's user-facing assistant features, maintain the service, protect users, or comply with law. ARI does not transfer Google user data to advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers.
Revocation
Users can revoke ARI's access from their Google Account permissions page at any time. After revocation, ARI can no longer refresh Google access. Users can also request deletion of account or integration data through Fluss Creative.
